Beyonce in Nashville

Beyonce was INCREDIBLE.  There are hardly words.  She is truly "Queen Bey."  She is a fabulous performer and a class act.  Beyonce carries herself with a regal attitude that all women should have.  I love that she can still be silly and get her hands dirty by working with different philanthropies.  She's great.  Here are some iPhone shots I got during the concert.

Y'all know how much I love Nashville.  I was so excited to show the beau around.  On the way back, just before we got to Birmingham, we had a blowout while I was driving.  TALK ABOUT SCARY!  I kept my cool though, and that sweet man of mine changed our tire.  We were then on our way again at the speedy pace of 50 miles an hour.  We got the nicest looks and gestures from everyone passing us...NOT. Ha!  We were glad to finally get home.  Here are few more pictures from the weekend.

Vader man was glad to be home too! How can that be comfy??

I hope all my hippies had a wonderful weekend.  I've got a busy busy week ahead of me!  Deep breaths!  Peace, y'all!

Nervous Inspiration

Life has gotten crazy busy these past few days.  I  can't wait to be in Nashville for the Beyonce concert this weekend.  Y'all know this is my favorite city, and I can't wait to finally share my love for it with the beau.  Happy (almost) Birthday to me!

Anyway, I have more breaking news.  I have a big girl job interview tomorrow, and I'm super nervous and excited.  I'll share more details with y'all if things go as hoped for.  Thoughts, prayers, and good vibes would be greatly appreciated.  The big move to Ocean Springs may be soon than I thought! (PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEASE!!)  To calm my nerves a little, though, I've been pinning some extra inspirational stuff lately.  I thought I'd share with y'all.

These images are just stunning.  Jaw dropping, really.

Head on over to Irie's blog today and check out my post on dressing boho chic, too!  I'll keep y'all updated on upcoming events, and be ready for a post that's very close to my heart tomorrow.

Health and Fitness Journey

As I've mentioned before, the beau and I have been training for a half-marathon in April.  We had originally been training for the Country Music Marathon in Nashville on April 27, but after many seasoned runners warned us about the hills and difficulty of that race, we decided to change directions.  We have decided to run in Hattiesburg Clinic's second annual Rise and Shine half-marathon and 5k on April 6th.  This has pushed our schedule up a bit, and I'm nervous and excited for race day to finally be here!

In addition to pushing ourselves a little harder in race training, I have begun a rigorous weight training and clean eating program, too.  I'm absolutely loving it.  It's fitness model, Jamie Eason's, LiveFit program, and it is NOT easy.  I love how it challenges me, though.  Maybe I'll post some progress pictures, soon.

That being said, I recently started following Ashlee Hendry Fitness on Facebook and Instagram.  She is such an inspiration going from 205 pounds to 133.  Ashlee started her weight loss and health journey with Jamie Eason's program as well.  She is also a single mother to the cutest little boy and second year med student, and I just realized, she's located right here in Hattiesburg! How cool is that?  Ashlee has a HUGE following and will be competing in an NPC Bikini Competition in 18 weeks.  Her progress photos and updates have really been keeping me motivated.  Check her out, y'all!

There are so many exciting things happening right now in my life, and I'm so blessed to be able to share it with all of y'all.  Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all of the love and support all of my readers constantly provide.  Y'all are the best!
