Tonight, I have both the privilege and the honor of attending Mississippi's first ever Fashion's Night Out event. The soiree will take place in downtown Hattiesburg at Oddfellows Gallery on Front Street. The event is sponsored by the fabulous Click Boutique & Gallery. For those of you who don't know, here is an explanation of what Fashion's Night Out is...
"Fashion's Night Out is an unprecedented global initiative created in 2009 to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence, boost the industry's economy during the recession and put the fun back in shopping! In the United States, the program is a collaboration between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company and the City of New York. Last year's bash featured events in eighteen countries and more than 4,500 events here in the United States alone, featuring special, limited-edition products, celebrity appearances and unforgettable performances."

Click Boutique will unveil pieces from their autumn/winter/holiday collection. There will be champagne cocktails, a dessert bar and the art of Anthony Difatta featured in the main gallery for all to enjoy. An appearance by Mississippi's Miss Hospitality, Chandler Llana, is expected, as well as a complimentary photo booth by Daniel & Steph Photography. The event will begin at at 7pm and will last until 10pm. It's sure to be a memorable night for the city of Hattiesburg and the state of Mississippi. Click Boutique & Gallery promises that this event will be the first of many annual Fashion's Night Out celebrations.
